 BIOGRAPHY Jason Finigan was born in Bracebridge, Ontario on January 6, 1973. He grew up with his adoptive parents, living for a short time in Oakville, Ontario before moving to Burlington, Ontario when he was five years old. Jason attendend Lord Elgin High School, graduating from there at the age of eighteen. At the age of twelve, Jason came to realize that he was gay, though it took him many years to finally accept it. He currently lives with his partner, Jim, who he has lived with since February of 2009. An avid science fiction fan, Jason spent a good part of his youth immersed in TV shows, movies, and books of that genre. He even dabbled a bit in the genre himself, writing his own science fiction short stories when he was in elementary school for his English assignments. In March of 2007, Jason began writing his first science fiction novel, Destiny's Edge, which would eventually become the first book of his Caitaran Worlds Destiny Trilogy.
